Paper Abstract:      This study examined the issues regarding early childhood teacher’s perspectives on young children’s technology use and play in Taiwan. The research questions of the study include? (1) what do early childhood teachers think about young children’s technology use? and (2) what are the connections between young children’s technology use and play? Therefore, 15 kindergarten and preschool teachers were interviewed in the study to help the researchers understand the teachers’ perspectives. The results revealed that most teachers in this study support play, but some of them do not completely agree with young children’s use of technology. Some conclusions related to early childhood teachers’ perspectives on young children’s technology use, and connections between young children’s technology and play are also proposed.
